Maja Laubič

Maja Laubič is a visual artist based in Slovenia, currently completing her Master’s studies in Art Pedagogy. Her artistic practice is primarily focused on photography, which she often combines with print making and photo transfer techniques.

In her work, she explores both socially critical themes and intimate impressions of everyday life. She is particularly interested in topics related to animal suffering, the ethics of the animal industry, and the emotional traces left by contemporary society, while also drawing inspiration from fleeting moments, personal observations, and daily experiences.

Her works have been presented at several exhibitions in Slovenia, including exhibitions at Media Nox Gallery, ZDSLU and DobraVaga.
