Meeting people, making things happen, collaborating- Whether it is throwing a party or most recently being part of opening the contemporary artspace M100! For nearly 30 years, I’ve shared my passion for art through teaching painting.
Indigo Richards is a Danish-American visual artist based in Odense DK, Her paintings draw from everyday surroundings and natural forms. She has developed a distinctive technique based on fluid layers of color and wet-on-wet processes, working with watercolor, acrylic, and water-based oil in a continuous negotiation between control and dissolution.
Alongside this, she is part of the collective QWERTY, where her practice expands into performative formats. In works such as her “armpit painting” performances, the body becomes both tool and medium, turning painting into a direct, physical, and often participatory act. Across both formats, her work explores presence and perception.
