My practice aims to misplace, decontextualise any given matter, object, situation, meaning, from its affirmed and conventional context, in an attempt to provide it with a new and unexpected ‘meaning’ or ‘semantics’. I often play with the absurd, balancing between banality and ambiguity trying to point to a clear concept. I strive to reduce my interventions to most minimal forms essential for recognition. This process continuously challenges my own perception and view of the world, and I embrace an element of struggle in my quest to comprehend ‘Art’ and its place in a contemporary context.
