Turning the gallery inside out (though without the bogus fanfare that usually precedes that cliche), the Professor lights a rusty iron candelabra against the starry night and the crumbling wall and the exhibition opens. 

(Lights? Camera? Action?)

A mobile phone is tacked carefully to the wall. Switched on it brings its self-sufficient screen image into competition with the more ancient illumination.

The landcape determined to be seen against the darkness is of a distant ice field. Frozen in time and in camera. A hole within it holds a plastic water bottle filled with water melted from the ice itself. 

Here and now the re-frozen Icelandic ice cubes scintillate as they dissolve in Susak’s sparkling Supermarket water. The redistribution is complete. The cocktail of distant water sources is drunk and the ceremonial reconstitution over.

On the corner the women come and go talking of Professor Michaelangelo.
